We currently offer two bag types: (1) Heat sealed foil laminate with degassing valves and (2) Kraft (brown) paper bags that are biodegradable. We now offer the paper bags in both 8oz - 16oz and 5LB sizes! The foil laminate bags will keep coffee tasting fresh roasted for up to three months (unopened). Coffees packaged in Kraft bags should be used within two weeks. Whichever bag you choose rest assured your organic coffees will be FRESH ROASTED! NOTE: Kraft (ECO) bags are NOT available for 10 oz package size.
NOTE: As of 3/17/20 we are suspending Amazon Pay. In addition to accepting major credit cards and PayPal we do accept personal checks and money orders. If you would like to pay for an order with a check or money order, choose that option in the shopping cart. You will then need to mail us the check. We do not ship orders paid by money order or check until we receive a money order, or a check has cleared.
We currently use PayPal to accept online payments. You can pay with either a credit card or a PayPal account. PayPal is one of the most secure online payment processors. They receive your credit card information, and we do not receive it directly (unless you place an order over the phone). Your credit card information is gathered in our secure shopping cart hosted by Shift4Shop (previously 3DCart), which is a respected third-party cart service with an excellent reputation for security. You will be transferred to a secure page prior to inputting personal information, or credit card data. You may view our SSL Security Certificate by clicking the Lock icon in your browser's URL field.
We use Shift4Shop, a third party shopping cart system, to receive internet orders. They are a trusted, secure online shopping cart host that is PCI Certified, and scanned daily for vulnerabilities by McAfee SECURE. McAfee SECURE performs thousands of vulnerability checks per day, so you can be sure your data is secure. When you proceed to checkout you will be taken to an encrypted page. The security certificate is provided by Geo Trust Inc. and uses High-Grade 128 bit encryption. We DO NOT store any credit card information for security purposes.
NOTE: PO Boxes - If you would like your order shipped to a PO Box you MUST select USPS Priority and pay for shipping.
We ship via UPS or USPS. If you have your order shipped to a P.O. Box it must be shipped via USPS. CANADIAN BUYERS: We can ship to Canada via USPS Global (NOTE: Due to Canada applying tariffs to coffee imported from the United States we are temporarily suspending shipping to Canada.)
FLAT RATE SHIPPING: - If you do not select an expedited paid shipping option, your order will be sent via the least expensive option as shipping costs have dramatically increased. Please note: USPS first class: 3-5 business days, UPS Ground: 3 - 10 Business days, depending on distance from zip code 97415.
USPS Priority - This is our fastest shipping method. This shipping method takes 2-3 business days to reach anywhere in the United States. UPDATE: ALL SHIPPING COMPANIES ARE EXPERIENCING DELAYS!
Note: If you order coffees your order will not ship until the coffees have been fresh roasted.
MULTIPLE ADDRESSES: We offer the option to ship to multiple addresses for a single order. This is especially convenient for buying gifts for multiple people. When you click on an item to add to the shopping cart you will be presented the option to ship to "myself" or another person. If you choose to ship to another person simply input his or her name. NOTE: When shipping to multiple addresses you will not be able to calculate shipping costs until all shipping information is provided. Shipping is based on each shipment. You must click "Proceed to Checkout" after each address in entered. Once all addresses have been entered you will be able to select the shipping method for each item.
Many people have hailed our coffees as the best they've ever tasted! Not just the best organic, Fair Trade coffee, but the best coffee period. However, if for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your coffee, you have 14 days from the date the coffee was received to contact us via our Contact Us form. Please write "RETURN + Order Number" in the subject line to receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN); then return the unused portion of coffee for a full refund of the purchase price less any coupons and discounts. If there is an error with your order we will correct it promptly, or grant a full refund*.
ALWAYS check your shipping address! We cannot reship or refund orders shipped to incorrect addresses. If you find an error after an order is placed, please call 541-661-5563 as soon as you notice the error. We will do our best to help you get the order to the right place. Orders that are returned to us due to an incorrect address may be subject to a 20% restocking fee if you do not elect to cover reship costs.
* We do not accept returns on special orders, White Coffee, Sale Coffee, Fundraisers, or Feed the Farmers. We only accept returns on non-coffee items if they are damaged in shipping. Returned coffee must be shipped at buyer's expense.
Please Note: Travel mugs are to be hand washed only. We do not give refunds for flavored syrups or travel mugs unless we made a mistake in fulfilling the order. If damage in shipping has occurred we will file a claim with the shipper, and you will receive a refund once the claim is settled.
Unless specified otherwise, coffees will be fresh roasted (combo packs and retail size - 10 oz excluded) after you place your order. Coffees for gift baskets will be fresh (within a couple weeks), but may not be roasted immediately following the order due to logistical reasons. We bag our coffees in heat sealed foil laminate, one-way degassing valve equipped bags within hours of roasting. Coffee naturally emits carbon dioxide gas for several hours after roasting. This natural process flushes oxygen from the bag, thereby preserving the coffee. We normally roast on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and ship the following day. If your order is placed by 10:00 am PST on Tuesday, or Thursday your order will generally be roasted that day. We are closed all Federal Holidays and weekends as USPS and FedEx do not pick up. When Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday's are during weekdays we reserve the right to close the day before, and the day after to give our employees time with their families. We do not store, or share any credit card data. Credit cards are processed through PayPal, and we do not receive your card number. The only information we receive via email is the payment amount, type of credit card with last 4 digits and expiration, order description, cart number, customer comments and shipping address. We do not sell, or share this data (with one exception, see the following).
If you purchase any product through our site we may send you a future email with information about new products or promotional discounts. If you don't wish to receive future emails simply click the opt-out link at the bottom of the email.
We use analytic software which may use browser cookie technology to track customer movement through our site. This information includes, but is not limited to, IP addresses, browser details, time-stamps and referring pages. None of this information can personally identify specific visitors to this site. This information is used solely for the purpose of improving our site for user experience. If you do not want to accept cookies, simply set your browser to not accept cookies.
Reward Points / Coupon Code Use
The reward points redemption offers are offered at the discretion of the owners of Nectar of Life Coffee and are revocable for any reason deemed appropriate by Nectar of Life Coffee Company. Nectar of Life Coffee retains the right to remove points given during a transaction for coupon codes that are used more than once. For example, if you are already a member of the email list, and have redeemed the ONE-TIME coupon code for the 10% off, you may not use the code again. If the code is used again, and another account, and/or email is used in the sign up, all points earned during the transaction will be removed. Nectar of Life may remove points from an account if multiple accounts are created.
The reward point system is subject to change at any time without notice. Nectar of Life Coffee Company may, at will, discontinue the program if cases described above become more frequent. Nectar of Life is not in any way, shape or form required to financially compensate for lost points.
If you need a coupon code and cannot find one to use, rather than create a new account, or use a code you have already redeemed, you may call us and request a discount code. If one is a available, it will be issued to you. We offer all gift certificates, points, codes, and credits in good faith. We are a small business. Please be cool.
Wholesale orders are fresh roasted after the order is placed. For our regular wholesale customers we will work you into our weekly roasting schedule. We offer free shipping to a business address within the contiguous 48 United States for wholesale orders of 100+ lbs. Orders of less than 100 lbs, or wholesale orders shipping to a residential address will be charged shipping, or we can ship your order on your UPS account.
Any vendor we work with voluntarily or involuntarily via corporate buyout or other means will be legally held responsible and billed at no less than $150/hr for any time associated with erroneous or illegal billing practices.
